I have a segy file that is over 2TB in file size and I am having trouble opening the file in SeiSee. I am using SeiSee Version 2.22.2 Build Nov. 1, 2013.
I have Seisee installed on a remote desktop and on my local machine. The behaviour on my local machine is as expected. I click on Save As, and the Save As window appears and I can do anything else until I've either used the Save or Close option.
On the remote desktop, I select Save As and no window appears. I cannot do anything else because the main screen acts like the Save As window is there (but also like the screen has froze) and I can't do anything else other than close Seisee from Task Manager.
The folders in which I'm viewing the seg-y datasets is in read only mode, however, I move a dataset to a folder that I had full control, double checked that I had full control but yet the same behaviour happens.

This issue could be related to permissions on the remote desktop or compatibility issues with SeiSee on that specific machine. You may want to check the permissions on the folder where the seg-y datasets are located and also try reinstalling SeiSee on the remote desktop to see if that resolves the problem. Additionally, you could contact SeiSee support for further assistance.
Using SeisSee 2.22.6 I can only see one window at a time. Either the trace view, Header window or the directory browser. I am using a version on my laptop where I can see all three at the same time.

No, the question does not imply any political implications. It is related to the software program "SeiSee" for Windows.
At some point seisee view has lost its setting and now it is not possible to see the seismic, the header window and the directory browser at the same time? Everything else works fine, only the display is non-conforming Where seisee stores these user settings. we tried to uninstall and install seisee, but that didn't help.

To restore the view to see the trace view, header window, and directory browser at the same time in SeiSee for Windows, you can try resetting the user settings. The user settings are typically stored in a configuration file or registry key. You can try searching for any configuration files related to SeiSee and deleting or resetting them. Additionally, you can try contacting the software developer for support on how to reset the view settings. Uninstalling and reinstalling the program may not solve the issue if the user settings are preserved during the uninstallation process.

Some default values seem to be corrupted.
How do I uninstall Seisee completely including the default settings?
